September Satsang

The Monthly Satsang

A live monthly space to explore yoga philosophy, embodied practice, and meaningful connection for midlife women.

In yoga, a satsang is a spiritual community — a gathering of people who come together to learn, practice, self reflect, and support one another on the path.

The Monthly Satsang is a space for women in midlife who are longing for more peace, clarity, purpose, and connection. Each month, we gather around a shared theme and explore it together through yoga philosophy, embodied practice, reflection, and conversation.

This is not just a place to learn. It is a place to be in community.

A place to slow down together.
To reflect together.
To practice together.
To witness and support one another.
To remember that you are not alone in what you are moving through.

Over time, my hope is that this becomes more than a monthly meetup. I want it to be a genuine community — a space where we get to know one another, laugh and grow together, and walk this path side by side.

This Month's Exploration

This month we are reflecting on Devesha.

Dvesha is often translated as aversion or resistance. It is our tendency to push away anything that brings us physical, mental, or emotional discomfort.

But when we are constantly resisting what we feel, what is happening, or what we cannot control, we can become trapped in an exhausting battle with reality.

During this Satsang, we will explore how dvesha shows up in everyday life and how to meet discomfort with greater awareness, compassion, and choice.

Freedom does not come from avoiding discomfort. It comes from knowing you do not have to abandon yourself when it appears.
